Georgia Tech’s 2026 Football Schedule
is Set
Georgia Tech football’s 12-game regular-season schedule for 2026, which includes 7 games at Bobby Dodd Stadium, was revealed by the ACC on Monday. The Yellow Jackets’ highly anticipated seven-game home slate begins with premium non-conference showdowns versus Colorado (Sept. 5) and Tennessee (Sept. 12), and includes conference battles against defending ACC champion Duke (Oct. 10) and 2025 bowl winners Louisville (Nov. 7) and Wake Forest (Nov. 21).

Georgia Tech Football Adds 19 Transfers to 2026 Roster
Georgia Tech football has officially added 19 transfers to its 2026 roster. The newest additional include a national champion quarterback, an all-Big Ten running back and a total of 12 student-athletes that have multiple seasons of eligibility remaining. All 19 student-athletes have enrolled at Georgia Tech and are slated to participate in offseason football activities, including winter workouts and spring practice. Godsey Returns to Georgia Tech as Offensive Coordinator
George Godsey, a former Georgia Tech quarterback and alumnus who has spent the past 15 seasons as an ultra-successful assistant coach in the NFL, has returned to The Flats as the Yellow Jackets’ offensive coordinator. Godsey most recently served as the Baltimore Ravens’ tight ends coach since 2022, helping lead the Ravens to three playoff berths, two AFC North Division titles and an AFC Championship Game appearance in four seasons.

ACC Finalizes 2026 Football Opponents
As the Atlantic Coast Conference begins to transition to a nine-game conference schedule for football, Georgia Tech’s 2026 conference opponents will not change from the original slate that was unveiled in 2023, the ACC announced on Tuesday. In September, the ACC voted to begin playing nine-game conference schedule and require members to play a total of 10 games against opponents from Power Four conferences (the ACC, Big Ten, Big XII and Southeastern Conference).
