"I'm really excited about this class. It's the one we've been working on really for several years. In this case, four years out as far as recruiting guys. But, as of right now, we're 22 signings in. Cool thing is 15 of those guys from the state of Georgia, six out of the 15 are still in the playoffs playing. That's important to us to be able to have guys that-- the pedigree comes from a championship high school, too"

Tech is expected to ink a top-20 class nationally and second-best class in the ACC. Ahead of Wednesday, 24 high school seniors had committed to play for the Yellow Jackets in 2025.

The Yellow Jackets struggled all game to get much going on offense settling for three field goals with their only score coming on a short field pick six early in the game. They held onto a nine point lead well into the fourth quarter thanks to a stingy defense that repeatedly stifled the North Carolina State offense.
