Georgia Tech cut it to three points with less than a minute to play, but couldn’t hold on as Boston College escaped with a 62-57 win in the first round of the 2023 ACC Tournament on Wednesday night in the Greensboro Coliseum. Bianca Jackson and Tonie Morgan combined for 37 points in the game.

A stifling defensive effort over the final three quarters helped women’s basketball erase an early deficit and pull away for a 63-55 victory over visiting Wake Forest Thursday at McCamish Pavilion. Tech, which trailed 23-15 after one quarter, held Wake Forest to just 32 points over the final three periods.

Pitt Outlasts Tech in Double Overtime, 85-79
Kara Dunn scored a career-high 20 points Sunday, but Pitt rallied for a double-overtime win in McCamish Pavilion, outlasting Georgia Tech, 85-79. Dunn was one of four Yellow Jackets to finish in double-figures. Dunn dropped a career-high 20 points and led three Jackets in double-figure scoring numbers.

Jackets Fall at Clemson, 57-41
Georgia Tech held the lead at halftime, but Clemson used a strong second half to take a 57-41 win Thursday in Littlejohn Coliseum. Cameron Swartz led the Jackets with 14 points. Georgia Tech (12-12, 3-10 ACC) pushed its lead out to as many as 10 points in the first half. Swartz was Tech’s only scorer in double-figures with 14 points.

Georgia Tech cut it to a two-point game with less than a minute to play, but could not pull out a victory at Miami, falling 64-58 in the Watsco Center on Sunday. Three Yellow Jackets finished in double-figures led by Cameron Swartz with 19 points on the day. Swartz led the Jackets with 19 points, followed by Kayla Blackshear with 12.
