Sylla's Historic Debut, Reeves' Big Shot Lift Jackets in Opener
Kowacie Reeves, Jr. hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 37 seconds to go in overtime as Georgia Tech men’s basketball shook off a slow start to the 2025-26 season and rallied to defeat Maryland Eastern Shore, 56-52, on Monday night at McCamish Pavilion. Reeves’ 3-pointer broke a 52-52 tie and lifted Georgia Tech, which trailed by as many as nine points in the second half, to the Opening Night win.

Men’s Basketball Announces
Promo Schedule
The 2025-26 Georgia Tech men’s basketball season is right around the corner and fans will be treated to several promotional events throughout the season. Group experiences and unique paid experiences are also on sale now. The fun begins on Nov. 18 when Georgia Tech hosts in-state opponent Georgia Southern for the annual Michael Isenhour Toy Drive, celebrating its 25th anniversary this season.

Men's Basketball ACC Tipoff Rewind
Georgia Tech men’s basketball head coach Damon Stoudamire, and student-athletes Baye Ndongo and Kowacie Reeves, Jr., represented the Yellow Jackets at the 2025 ACC Tipoff Tuesday, the conference’s annual media day, in Charlotte, NC. Slotted alongside five additional teams, the Yellow Jackets rotated through a variety of interviews, press conferences, photo shoots and other activities with local, regional and national television and radio outlets.

Men’s Basketball Single-Game Tickets On Sale
Single-game tickets for Georgia Tech’s men’s basketball 2025-26 season are now on sale. The competitive schedule features a 19-game home slate, highlighted by nine ACC opponents. Upper-level tickets can be purchased for as little as $15, and lower-level seats start at $35. Georgia Tech tips-off the third season under head coach Damon Stoudamire on Nov. 3 welcoming Maryland-Eastern Shore to The Thrillerdome.

Men’s Basketball ACC Schedule Released
Georgia Tech men’s basketball will open its 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference schedule traveling to Duke to closeout the month of December and host Boston College on Jan. 3, as the conference office unveiled the entire league schedule on Tuesday. Tip times and television coverage, as well as solidified midweek dates, will be announced in the coming weeks. The Yellow Jackets visit Duke on either Dec. 30 or Dec. 31.

Tech Men to Host Mississippi State in ACC/SEC Challenge
For the second time in three years, Georgia Tech men’s basketball will host Mississippi State in the ACC/SEC Men’s Challenge, with the game taking place Wednesday, Dec. 3, at McCamish Pavilion. The ACC/SEC Men’s Challenge will take place over back-to-back days Tuesday, Dec. 2 and Wednesday, Dec. 3. The Challenge events will feature games across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network.

Tech to Compete in Emerald Coast Classic Thanksgiving Weekend
GT men’s basketball team will play in the Emerald Coast Classic presented by Global Sports the weekend after Thanksgiving as part of its non-conference schedule in 2025-26. The Yellow Jackets are part of a field that includes DePaul, Drake and LSU for the Nov. 28-29 event at Raider Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Fla. ACC Announces 2025-26 Opponents in Men’s Basketball
Georgia Tech will host NCAA Tournament teams Clemson and North Carolina as part of its nine-game home Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball schedule during the 2025-26 season, the third for the Yellow Jackets under head coach Damon Stoudamire. The ACC announced home and away opponents for all 18 conference teams Thursday as the league returns to an 18-game slate.
