Tech Set to Compete at Lehigh and Alexander/Asics
The Georgia Tech cross country team will split its team this weekend with competition scheduled at the Lehigh Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa. and the Alexander/Asics Invite in Fairburn, Ga. Both meets will be on Saturday, Sep. 30. The women will compete in the 5K race.

Men Finish Second, Women Third At Mt. Dew Invitational
Georgia Tech cross country recorded a second-place finish in the men’s 8-kilometer race and a third-place finish in the women’s 3-mile race. The women totaled 62 points and were 20 points behind Vanderbilt, who finished in second place. The men’s team finished with 40 points.

Women’s XC Takes First at Stan Sims Opener, Men Place Second
Georgia Tech women’s cross country started the 2023 season with a first-place team performance, capturing the Stan Sims Opener, while the men placed second in their season debut. Women’s distance runner Helena Lindsay won the women’s 5k race, with a time of 17:01.68.

The Michael K. Anderson Building, the newly renovated day-to-day home of GT track and field/cross country, was officially unveiled to the teams on Wednesday. The Anderson Building is located adjacent to McCamish Pavilion, directly across Fowler Street from Georgia Tech’s George C. Griffin Track.

Women Finish 10th, Men Finish 11th at ACC Championships
Georgia Tech cross country recorded a 10th-place finish in the women’s 6K and 11th in the men’s 8K race Friday at the 2022 ACC Championships. The men totaled 319 points, 27 points behind Pitt. The women’s team finished with 240 points which was 14 points behind a 9th place Wake Forest.

Women Place First, Men Take Second at Berry Invite
Georgia Tech cross country concluded the weekend of competition at the Berry Invite with a first-place finish in the women’s 6K and a second-place finish in the men’s 8K race. Ashley Sechrest led the women to a team win with a third-place time of 22:37.29. Cole Miller was the top runner for the men.
