GT men’s & women’s cross country finished their races at the 2025 ACC Cross Country Championships Friday. The men’s team finished 13th, the women 17th. Taylor Wade was running 117th midway through the race at the 4k split before finishing in 68th at 24:08.0.

Tech Earns Top-Five Crimson Classic Finishes
The Georgia Tech men’s and women’s cross country teams recorded top-five team finishes in the 2025 Crimson Classic 8k and 6k races on Friday morning. Joey Sandel led the Jackets through the race and came across the line in 22nd place, clocking a 24:31.6 time.

Tech Dominates Home Invitational
The GT men’s and Twomen’s cross country teams swept the 2025 Georgia Tech XC Invitational. The Jackets claimed the top three spots in each race and earned both team victories for a second time this season. Caitlin Thomas led the women’s team with her first-career race victory, clocking a 20:42.8 in her debut collegiate 6k event.

Georgia Tech's men’s & women’s cross country teams earned conference accolades following the first week of the season. Caitlin Thomas was named the ACC Women’s Freshman of the Week. Wyatt Windham was ACC Men’s Freshman of the Week after strong debuts at the Stan Sims Invite.
