Women Finish 6th, Men 12th at NCAA South Regionals
Georgia Tech cross country concludes season at the NCAA South Regionals. At Friday’s meet the women placed sixth and the men finished 12th.
For the women, Mary Brady was the first runner to cross the finish line for Tech, coming in 34th
with a time of 19:51.6.
Women Finish 9th, Men 10th
at ACC Championship
GT cross country recorded a 9th-place finish in the women’s 6K, 10th in the men’s 8K Friday in the Atlantic Coast Conference Cross Country Championships. The women finished with 264 points and finished behind Wake Forest; the men totaled 280 points, only three points behind ninth-place Pitt.

XC: Men Finish 7th; Women 12th at Arturo Barrios Invite
Georgia Tech concluded the Arturo Barrios Invite with a men’s 7th place finish; the women finished 12th. Graduate Grace Driskill crossed first for Tech, finishing 26th at 20:18.04. Jr. Mary Brady (Avondale Estate, Ga.) finished in a top-50 spot, she landed in the 43rd spot with a time of 20:33.0.

Men Finish Second, Women Third At Mt. Dew Invitational
Georgia Tech cross country recorded a second-place finish in the men’s 8-kilometer race and a third-place finish in the women’s 3-mile race. The women totaled 62 points and were 20 points behind Vanderbilt, who finished in second place. The men’s team finished with 40 points.

Women’s XC Takes First at Stan Sims Opener, Men Place Second
Georgia Tech women’s cross country started the 2023 season with a first-place team performance, capturing the Stan Sims Opener, while the men placed second in their season debut. Women’s distance runner Helena Lindsay won the women’s 5k race, with a time of 17:01.68.
