Men's Tennis Welcomes Two Jackets
Men’s Tennis head coach Kenny Thorne has added two student-athletes to the 2024-25 Georgia Tech roster. Nate Bonetto signed as a transfer following three seasons at the University of Florida, along with incoming freshman Gianluca Carlini, a highly touted recruit from Bordighera, Italy.

Andres Martin Earns All-American Honors
Tech’s Andres Martin received All-America honors as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) officially announced the 2024 honorees. Martin was named to the ITA All-American list in singles. “Andres has improved each year and represented Georgia Tech with class,” stated Ken Byers men’s tennis head coach Kenny Thorne.

Doubles Duo Falls at NCAA Championship
Georgia Tech men’s tennis’ duo Keshav Chopra and Marcus McDaniel competed in the 2024 NCAA Doubles Championship on Tuesday evening. After a hard fought battle, the duo fell to Oklahoma State’s Isaac Becroft and Tyler Zink in the doubles round of 32. Chopra and McDaniel entered the doubles tournament ranked No.15.

Martin Falls at NCAA Championship
Georgia Tech men’s tennis’ Andres Martin competed in the 2024 NCAA Singles Championship Monday. After batting back in the second set, Martin concluded the season falling in the first round to VCU’s Matisse Bobichon. Martin entered the singles tournament ranked at No.12. Martin provided success for Tech leading at the No.1 singles position this season.

No. 29 Yellow Jackets Fall to No. 7 Wake Forest, 4-0
No. 29 Georgia Tech made an appearance in the ACC Championship quarterfinals for the first time since 2022, but were unable to overcome No. 7 Wake Forest, falling 4-0 on Friday afternoon. Tech moved to 18-8 overall with the loss. The Deacs won all six first singles sets, despite Tech pushing two into tiebreaks.
