Jackets Knock Off No. 10 Virginia Tech for First Top 10 Victory
Georgia Tech softball (28-23, 9-11 ACC) picked up its first top 10 win and third top 25 victory of the season, defeating No. 10 Virginia Tech (38-7, 12-5 ACC) 6-2 on Saturday night. The 6-2 win over No. 10 Virginia Tech marked Georgia Tech softball’s highest ranked true road win in program history. Sydnie Watts made her 13th start, 21st appearance, on Saturday in game two against the Hokies.

Medina Delivers Sixth Inning Run Rule Victory Over Jacksonville State
Georgia Tech softball (24-20, 8-10 ACC) topped Jacksonville State (29-12, 13-2 CUSA) 8-0 in six innings on Tuesday night, with Holly Medina delivering her third walk-off win of the season. Madalyn Johnson made her 23rd start, 29th appearance of the season, on Tuesday. Johnson finished the day with three strikeouts against 21 batters. Alyssa Willer and Paige Vukadinovich led Tech’s offense with two runs respectively.

11–4 Saturday Win Secures Sweep of Boston College
Georgia Tech softball (23-20, 8-10 ACC) saw its first series sweep over Boston College (11-26, 2-10 ACC) since 2013 after walking away with the 11-4 win on Saturday afternoon. Tymber Harris made her seventh start of the season, ninth appearance of the season, in the final game against Boston College. Harris faced six batters across 1.1 innings. Emma Simon recorded her third home run of the season.

Johnson Flirts With Perfection as Tech Shutouts Purdue, 8-0
Georgia Tech softball (12-6) went undefeated through the I-75 Tournament after an 8-0 five-inning win over Purdue (8-6) on Sunday. Madalyn Johnson was nearly perfect as she surrendered no runs, no walks, and only two hits to secure her third win of the week. Johnson made her 7th start of the season and added three strikeouts to her now team-high 41 strikeouts. Five Jackets scored runs against the Boilermakers.

Jackets Drop Series Finale Against No. 14 Virginia, 5-1
Georgia Tech softball (17-13, 5-4 ACC) dropped its second ACC series of the season after a 5-1 finish in Sunday’s final game against No. 14 Virginia (25-3, 4-2 ACC). Madalyn Johnson made her 14thstart of the season, 19th appearance, on Sunday afternoon and recorded six strikeouts across her 4.0 innings pitched. Addison Leschber scored Tech’s one run on Sunday bringing her to 11 runs this season.
