No. 3 Seed Tech Advances Through Winners Bracket With Win Over No. 2 Seed Texas State
No. 3 seed Georgia Tech softball (31-27, 10-14 ACC) began its 2026 Regional run with a 2-1 win over No. 2 seed Texas State (38-21, 16-8 SBC). Madalyn Johnson was exceptional in the circle, winning the pitchers dual for her 15th win of the season. Alyssa Willer and Gracyn Tucker were responsible for Tech’s two hits on Friday, with Tucker finishing the day with one RBI.

No. 9 Seed Tech Surges Past No. 8 Seed Notre Dame to Advance, 13-3
No. 9 seed Georgia Tech softball (30-26, 10-14 ACC) advanced through to the ACC Quarterfinals in dominant fashion with an impressive 13-3 five-inning win over No. 8 seed Notre Dame (25-28, 11-13 ACC) on Wednesday. Madalyn Johnson made her 29th start, 36th appearance, on Wednesday afternoon. She finished with six strikeouts across 5.0 innings of work for her 14th win and 12th complete game of the season.

Jackets Drop Game One to No. 13 Seminoles on Friday Night
Georgia Tech softball (29-24, 10-12 ACC) dropped game one of the series against No. 13 Florida State (41-7, 16-3 ACC) with a 4-0 finish on Friday night. Madalyn Johnson finished the day recording four strikeouts against 29 batters faced across 7.0 innings pitched. Addison Leschber led the Yellow Jackets on defense with a team high nine putouts. Saturday’s game is on ACCN while Sunday can be watched on ACCNX.

Yellow Jackets Outlast No. 10 Hokies for Historic Series Win
Georgia Tech softball (29-23, 10-11 ACC) made history on Sunday afternoon as its 9-7 win over No. 10 Virginia Tech (38-8, 12-6 ACC) was not only its first series win in Blacksburg, Virginia, since 2011 but its highest ranked series win in program history. Alyssa Willer was once again unable to be managed by the Hokies’ defense as her Sunday featured two runs, two hits, one home run, and two RBI.

Jackets Knock Off No. 10 Virginia Tech for First Top 10 Victory
Georgia Tech softball (28-23, 9-11 ACC) picked up its first top 10 win and third top 25 victory of the season, defeating No. 10 Virginia Tech (38-7, 12-5 ACC) 6-2 on Saturday night. The 6-2 win over No. 10 Virginia Tech marked Georgia Tech softball’s highest ranked true road win in program history. Sydnie Watts made her 13th start, 21st appearance, on Saturday in game two against the Hokies.

Medina Delivers Sixth Inning Run Rule Victory Over Jacksonville State
Georgia Tech softball (24-20, 8-10 ACC) topped Jacksonville State (29-12, 13-2 CUSA) 8-0 in six innings on Tuesday night, with Holly Medina delivering her third walk-off win of the season. Madalyn Johnson made her 23rd start, 29th appearance of the season, on Tuesday. Johnson finished the day with three strikeouts against 21 batters. Alyssa Willer and Paige Vukadinovich led Tech’s offense with two runs respectively.
