Tech Swim-Dive Opens Season With Dominant Win Over Emory
Georgia Tech opened the season with a dominant win over in-town foe Emory Saturday afternoon, with the men’s squad winning 205-91 and the women’s team defeating the Eagles 216-79. White Team Claims 2024 Intrasquad Scrimmage
Tech held its annual White vs Gold Intrasquad Friday, where the white team came out victorious for the third season in a row. The white finished with 173 points, while the gold team totaled 143. The white team claimed wins in 17 events and set White vs Gold records in four: 200 free (Zara Masud), 200 IM (Berke Saka), 200 back (Berke Saka) and 200 back (Phoebe Wright).

Swim-Dive Announces 2024-25 Schedule
Georgia Tech swim & dive announced its 2024-25 schedule Friday which consists of five meets at the McAuley Aquatic Center, including the Georgia Tech Invite in November. Tech will open the season with the annual White vs Gold Intrasquad meet, which will take place Friday, Sept. 20. The Yellow Jackets will then participate in the Swim Across America.

Two-Day Meet
Georgia Tech swim and dive hits the road this weekend, traveling to Pitt for a two-day meet against the Panthers. Action will begin Friday at 5 p.m. with the 1-meter diving event, and will continue Saturday at 9 a.m. with the 3-meter event, with swimming action starting at 11 a.m. Live results can be found in the Meet Mobile app. Tech is coming off a split weekend at FSU.

Swim-Dive Splits Road Meet at Florida State
In the first road meet of the season, the Yellow Jackets spilt the day with the Seminoles, with the Georgia Tech men getting a 174.5-125.5 win over Florida State, while the women dropped a close matchup, 138-162 with the home squad. The FSU men’s team is ranked No. 19 in the CSCAA Preseason Top 25 Poll. Mert Kilavuz claimed the first win for Tech.
