No. 16 Tech Spoils Perfect Home Season for No. 25 UNC with 3-2 Win
No. 16 Georgia Tech (17-4, 9-3 ACC) finished its week with a five-set road win against No. 25 UNC (18-3, 10-2 ACC). Bianca Bertolino (17), Tamara Otene (13) and DeAndra Pierce (12) led the Yellow Jackets’ offense with double-digit kills against the Tar Heels while Luanna Emiliano had her seventh performance with 40+ digs.

Weekly Honors
Junior libero Sofia Velez and freshman middle blocker Logan Wiley earned their first ever ACC honors as the two Yellow Jackets received weekly honors following the teams’ 2-0 week against NC State and Wake Forest. Velez was recognized for her defensive efforts against the Pack and Deacons. Wiley was the top freshman.

Otene’s 17 kills bring her to 982 kills as a Yellow Jacket, bringing her closer to the 1,000-kill club while competing as a Yellow Jacket.
